Wild camping is allowed, following ‘tread lightly’ or ‘leave no trace’ principles.

You are welcome to camp in Glen Tanar, following the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.

Organised youth groups (e.g. Scouts, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme) may use our informal site by arrangement with the Ranger Service, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
